Terms and conditions
Article 1 - Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Cooling-off period: The period during which the consumer can exercise their right to cancel.
- Consumer: A person not acting for business purposes who enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur.
- Entrepreneur: A natural or legal person offering products or services to consumers remotely.
- Distance contract: A contract concluded through remote communication methods.
- Right of withdrawal: The consumer's right to cancel the contract within a specific period.
Article 2 - Applicability
These terms apply to all offers, distance contracts, and orders between Grain & Grit and the consumer. The terms are provided before concluding the contract. If not provided before, they will be available for review and sent to the consumer free of charge upon request.

Article 4 - The Offer
The offer is without obligation and subject to changes. It contains an accurate description of the products/services, including prices, shipping costs, and payment methods. The offer will indicate whether the right of cancellation applies.
Article 5 - The Contract
A contract is concluded when the consumer accepts the offer and fulfills the terms. If concluded electronically, the entrepreneur must confirm receipt of the acceptance.
Article 6 - Right of Cancellation
The consumer can cancel the purchase within 14 days after receiving the product. During this period, the product must be handled carefully and returned in original condition. The return shipping cost is borne by the consumer.
Article 7 - Costs in Case of Withdrawal
If the consumer cancels, the return shipping costs are their responsibility. Refunds will be processed within 14 days after receiving the returned product.
Article 8 - Price
The price of products/services will remain stable within the validity period, except for changes in VAT. Additional shipping and customs fees are not included in the price.
Article 9 - Conformity and Warranty
The entrepreneur guarantees the products/services meet the agreed terms. If products are defective, the consumer must report the issue within 14 days. The warranty period follows the manufacturer’s terms.
Article 10 - Delivery and Execution
Accepted orders will be delivered within 30 days unless otherwise agreed. The entrepreneur will inform the consumer if there are delays. In case of non-delivery, a replacement will be offered.
Article 11 - Duration Transactions
For fixed-term contracts, the consumer can terminate at the end of the term with notice. Open-ended contracts can be terminated with a maximum notice period of one month.
Article 12 - Payment
Payment is due within 7 working days after the cooling-off period. Any inaccuracies in payment information must be reported immediately.
Article 13 - Complaints Procedure
Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted within 7 days. The entrepreneur will address complaints within 14 days. If the complaint is justified, the entrepreneur will replace or repair the product.
Article 14 - Disputes
Contracts are governed by Dutch law, even if the consumer resides abroad.
Article 15 - CESOP
As per the 2024 tax regulations, payment service providers can register data in the European CESOP system.
